Meet Josh

This is him with his wife Adrienne.

I first met Josh at a bar.

Adrienne and I went to high school together and one random summer night about ten years ago, she and I and a few other friends met at a bar for some drinks, with our spouses.

This mini-reunion is where I fell in love with Josh Barnes. No, not in the way you "fall in love" with your husband, you all know Dan Hamlin is the love of my life, rather in the way one "falls in love" with your Dyson or yoga pants....they just have to be a part of your life.

There is nothing he can't do. He works full time and sells American Dreams on the side. I can't say that I've ever seen him in a bad mood and if something does go wrong he usually approaches it with a glass half full of Captain and Coke kind of attitude.

He is an outstanding realtor.

He is very knowledgable when it comes to all things realty. I have finally found my match for those of you who know about my sick obsession with the real-estate market. Sometimes at dinner the four of us will be sitting there and then Josh and I will get into a deep discussion about houses.

Me: Did you see the house on blah-blah street just list?
Josh: Yeah, the owners are getting divorced. They only lived there two years. It's sad because they just renovated the kitchen. They are going to take a hit on that house.
Me: No shit? It's probably because they went with laminate and not granite... That shit can end a marriage.

That's a totally made up conversation that never happened but we do talk shop a lot. And I love it.

If you ever are in need of a realtor, Josh Barnes is the man for you. I've never seen anyone work harder, with integrity and honesty. He always told us the truth, even when I didn't want to hear it. He has your best interest at heart. The best part is that he's funnier than hell.

The Hamlins have found a home, thanks to Josh. We closed today and operation "paint the entire house including all wood trim" will be in full effect, starting immediately. Dan walked into Sherwin Williams, opened his wallet and dumped everything onto the counter. I watched on clapping and yelling "bravo!".

We have some big plans and big dreams for this house. I know Josh will be with us every step of the way....hopefully with a paintbrush in his hand.

Thanks Josh Barnes of Home Expert Realty.

We love you!
